It's often clear in the first session with you that you feel isolated with your problem
and believe you are either mad, bad or sad! You might be at breaking point with whatever troubles you have or maybe
you've just slowly become absolutely sick of your state of mind and fed up with repeating the same patterns year in year out.
Some of you however may feel generally quite buoyant but you're just aware you have one issue that appears
to overshadow an aspect of your life....
Yet others even ask me "Am I a hopeless case?". Well, apart from the fact if I said 'Yes' I'd
be out of business, I'd like to tell you right now, of course you're not a hopeless case! You're human. That's
the only qualification you need to come and see me. And since one of the most important things you will do is to work
with the right therapist, it's worth reading about me here.
Some therapists you may have worked with may have appeared to have their own agenda, others you just had
no rapport with, and maybe others just seemed to be full of techniques but with no substance. Finding the right therapist
to work with can be a minefield! It is absolutely true that not every therapist will be right for you which
is why it is important you read about Open Mind and my approach. Download my FREE guide above to give you an idea
about how to choose the best therapist for you.
Using a blend of integrative therapies including Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy my ethos at Open Mind Therapy it to treat the whole person and not just the symptom. That means,
whatever you want to work with, we'll find a style to suit your unique personality.
Half way between the conventional medical approach and alternative influences, my Open Mind Therapy aims
to bridge the gap between the mind and the body, the medical establishment and the complementary field, the heart and the
head.
In the following pages, you will find an approach as satisfactory to the head as it feels to the heart.
